EUR balance on PayPal suddenly disappeared

I keep three currencies on PayPal, GBP, EUR and USD. My USD balance is nil, my GBP balance is there as expected, but my EUR balance shows as 0.00. I've had two payments made in EUR today and haven't spent anything, and there's no record of a currency conversion between EUR and GBP.... so, where's my cash gone?

Maybe it's a technical issue with their EUR account, but does anyone else have the same issue?

    Seems my EUR balance has been placed on hold, but there's no indication why and no notification that it's happened. The only place it appears is on a financial summary report for the current month, under 'Other Activity', about 10 clicks away from the home page. And worse, this is the third time they've done it this month even though it's only the first time I've seen it. WTF.

    PayPal unfortunately operates on very shady practices. Just as unfortunately, it's also perfectly legal.
