I thought I was among the first 100 when I signed up (I think there were only about 10 stores/wishlists showing when mine was confirmed, but I didn't get an email. Did I miss the promotion?

You were! You were sent a coupon on the second of July around 10:30 PM GMT. You don't actually need the coupon e-mail to purchase the item, you can go to tdb.brickowl.com and the coupon will be in your cart.
