Exchanging Catalog Points for Free Brick Owl commission

I decided to put my hard earned Catalog Points to good use for the first time. Today is June 1st, commissions for the previous month are due so I exchanged 1500 points for "30 Days of Free Brick Owl Commission". A few hours later, the reminder on my Dashboard ("Commission is now due for payment") is still there and I'm beginning to wonder if I misunderstood how that Prize works. Please advise.

I understand that to be 30 days from the day it's activated.

Yes, that 30 days from the date activated, it is not retroactive

Thanks for the clarification. In that case I am exchanging Catalog Points for an unknown future value, essentially betting on a successful trade in June.
