How do buyers add to their order.

I have a buyer who can't figure out how to add a couple pieces to his order. I have it all set up and have had tons of buyers do it; but since I've never added to an order personally, I can't really walkthrough it for this customer who's having trouble. So perhaps someone who has added to orders before can tell me how it's done on the customer side.

They should just be able to add the items to their cart, and then order them at checkout. It will offer to combine the order in the checkout process.

He's saying that my $5 minimum buy is preventing him from doing so; even though many others have been able to place additions worth under $5 in my store.

How far has the order progressed? It should be possible to add parts if it is 'payment recieved' or 'processing' but not if it has moved to 'processed'

I checked that on the customer's account, and there was actually a specific bug where if a user had an unselected coupon in the store, they could not bypass the minium order for a combined order. That's now been fixed, so if you let them know they can go ahead and complete checkout for that
