Hi all.

Anyway of finding out the difference maybe by no logo or part number?

There's a good thread describing some of the less common fake vs. real LEGO located at https://www.brickowl.com/forum#/discussion/comment/40655. Almost all LEGO has their logo and a part number I've learned (save pins, axles, and super small things like that). The thread is worth a read, it may help!
