Second "personal note"

Would you consider adding a second "personal note" or perhaps "location".

I use, and believe a good few do also, personal note to keep track of the location of parts.

Some parts are in two locations, due to volume, it would be handy to have the second location against the part, rather than 2 entries, or using "public note" at the moment I achieve this by memory - not the best way!

Could you put a comma in the field? I have considered having a separate SKU and personal note.

Maybe, however if I wanted to search all parts in a specific location would it work?

Say I have the same parts in T-11 and also in X-09 and I enter Personal remark T-11, X-09
Then if I search "T-11" would it pull up those parts? Or would it ignore them due to the , X-09 also in the field?

Best thing to do would be to try it out and see what happens

Yes it would, I tried it with some of my inventory and it works for me.
