problems with adding dimensions

I have come across two items, possibly more to come, where I can't add dimensions, I click "edit parent" but it returns to same screen on

Also could you turn off approval requirement on adding dimensions? And/Or add "next part without x dimension" in inventory - to speed up the process?

I'm aware of the issue with the dog, I will fix that, it affects decorated items without an uncoloured parent usually.
