Posting light bricks

I'm interested in other sellers experience with light bricks particularly regarding posting them. As they have a tiny battery (albeit not connected) is this considered a 'dangerous item' and therefore need to be declared?
Thanks in advance for any responses.

Brendan

  • Don't know about Australian postal restrictions, but for UK the Royal Mail states that "Batteries, specifically new and used lithium batteries when not connected to an electronic device" are not permitted in either domestic or international mail. However, given that the battery in a light brick is connected to the device I think that would be OK. That said I have never had to ship one yet, so maybe someone else can give a better idea.

    Hope this helps
