Just been informed by a customer that they could not apply one of my regular coupon codes.
I have checked myself and the coupon works OK at my end.
I'd appreciate it if someone else could do a dummy run on it for me and let me know if it works for them.
(Obviously don't complete the transaction).

To clarify, user specific coupons are sent via email and shown during checkout. Coupon codes are not user specific and have to be manually entered on the cart. Coupon codes are not requested during checkout as this can cause cart abandonment when customers seek a code they don't already have.
non user specific coupon codes need to be added on the cart before checkout
Whereas
user specific coupons appear on the cart at checkout to be "ticked" , ie. free shipping or percent discount offer?
