Adding a tiny amount to an existing order

I have a buyer who accidentally purchased 1 item instead of the whole lot. To purchase the remainder of the lot would be 21c. They paid via Stripe. To add to the order, would it initiate a new Stripe purchase or add to the existing one? If it initiates a new purchase then I'm not going to pay 30c + 2.9% on 21c and lose money. I'd rather throw them in free. But if it adjusts the current order, I'll have them add to the order.

Also, can they make an order addition that is under my store minimum? I've enabled additions and this order is still within the allowed timeframe.

It will create a new charge. The only way around would be to cancel the order and ask them to make another one.

The addition can be under the minimum.

Good to know, thanks. Not worth the effort to cancel and recharge. Looks like they get a little Christmas gift.
