Request Help IDing a Part

I'm not sure this is even a LEGO - it doesn't appear to be any Large Figure, Bionicle, or Hero Factory part that I can find... does anyone recognize this by chance?

Yes, I was wondering if it wasn't LEGO also... the dark red color is so close to similar LEGO parts in this plastic, but that black "post" really threw me.

The rounding looks very Playmobil to me. Can you take a pic next to a 2x4 brick for comparison?

Can I intrude here and ask a similar question? This part was in a box of second-hand Lego but not everything in the box was actually Lego. So I'm not sure if this part is either... I've searched the catalog for what it might be but can't come up with anything...

Not seen anything like that before. Not feeling it as LEGO; size-wise it seems to be neither two nor three studs long and the colour is slightly 'off' in my opinion.

I don't recognize that part either, @purplecat, for what it's worth - I'm not feeling LEGO either. :-)

Thank you @Jay37 and @Calibrick ! I'm going to assume it's not Lego... Your part doesn't look like Lego to me either, but I'm very new to all this...
