Missing data question

Hello All
Going through the missing data categories and looking at the filters I have a few questions regarding missing data.

Minifigure creation - some entries appear to have all the correct minifigures entered already and some early entries have minifigure parts but the sets dont have complete minifigure IE creation boxes. so what exactly is this category for?

Missing Year - A lot of entries in this section are subsets for LEGO advent calender's, and there is no place to actually include the year of release

thanks for any answers
David

Minifigure creation is done based on there being remaining Minifigure parts in the inventory, but there isn't a way to mark these as "done". It's best used for checking on newly released sets

I'll deal with the year issue
  • Just to confirm the years for subsets are now resolved
  • Once again, brickowl proves itself to be a well run site with an owner and admin that actually cares.
Its a absolute pleasure to be able to help make this site better.
  • Thank you, that's very kind
  • Now trying to find (any) information on the following unnamed sets. There is nothing else to go on and doing a owlqueryblid on every available set may take a little time.

  • For sets with no visible information, it's best to leave them and we will eventually get them resolved
  • Trying to work out how to inventory some older basic parts sets, an example is set 509.
This set was 38 parts all of the same colour but had 6 variations of colours.
so there should be 6 entries 509 (red), 509 (black) ETC with each having 38 pieces in each.

There were many older 60`s set like this.
  • You can set them up as alternates, so for example every color of brick 1 x 2 would have an alernate id of 100, then the brick 1 x 4s would have 101.
