This is my very first lego store! I'm new to selling lego and I hope I set everything up correctly. Looking forward to working with this friendly community and learning from everyone. I have been reading a few of your posts on this forum and it looks like a very engaging bunch.. so thanks for having me along for the ride!

I have a small inventory, but I want to specialize in selling minifigures because I'm a collector and I'm just looking to make some pocket change to build my collection a little.

Any advice from more experienced sellers is always appreciated. Thanks for reading my post. My store name is interstellar bricks. I'm located in Quebec Canada.

Bonjour and Bon Chance! You have set up a lovely store with concise terms and a great variety of parts albeit small inventory. Your minifigs will no doubt drive sales with "opportunity buys" of your parts. You have a minimum buy that makes sense for your focus on minifig inventory. Once your minifig inventory is reduces, you may need to reduce the minimum buy.
As our store is more a ministry than a business, we offer mostly used parts from Moms' group buys- gives us projects but in the end a lot of inventory to list- we have sold a lot and see that the more parts inventory we list, the more orders we get. Have been very busy filling these lately and twice the store to list still...Just the small-time selling perspective.
You've come to the right place for a lovely selling experience. There will be other big-time sellers who may respond here or will give such valuable insights on other threads- We feel there is room here for Everyone! Welcome!

Thanks so much! I'll definitely try to keep my eye open for some inventory boosting deals and see how that goes. Thank you for checking out my store too. Your comments reassured me. I've seen so many stores with parts in the 1000s. I'll keep in mind the minimum buy tab, you make a good point.

For now i don't bother, just insert new items in the store, and i think someone soon will buy something and start selling more often and etc...

@fitbricks Your older logo looks cool as well. I like how it is the same as the lego logo. Do you make them using a special computer program?

@GalaxyGirl have the store open about a month and no sales at now. Need to grow up my inventory and hope can sell soon.
Unfurnetly i cant spend big amounts of money to grow faster the inventory, it will grow with my possibilities and time.

@SrMorte With the current size of your inventory I would advise you to lower your minimum buy a bit. That should help in getting your first sale.

@GalaxyGirl yes an old DTP program I have. Serif Draw Plus X2. I think X8 was the last in the range before it was re-branded and quadrupled in price.
It comes in useful for all-sorts of projects such as my music sleeve images.
The Font - like Lego - is called Lego Thick.

@fitbricks well it looks great! I'm going to have to fix mine. It's a bit blurry I just did it quickly on PowerPoint. I'm not that skillful in graphic designing yet.
