I'm interested in seller's experience in sending to France as "toys" are prohibited from importation. I have some minifigures to send and wondering what I should use as the description of item.
It's not prohibited to send toys to France. It is prohibited to import toys without meeting certain conditions, but those apply to businesses, retailers and distributors (onward sellers) rather than those buying for private use.
Make sure the package contains an invoice (in a clear external wallet preferably, but internally if not) and the required customs declaration (CN22/23, externally).
If your buyer has other obligations they may ask you to put additional information on/within the package, but if they haven't asked it's safe to assume that nothing is required (it's certainly not up to you to check with every buyer whether or not they know their own country's obligations).
