Pages need to move

Store owners are able to create pages, which I LOVE.
However, I think the links to the different pages need to be moved. Currently they are practically hidden at the bottom of the store page. People who navigate websites are used to links either on the side nav bars or at the top in tabs.

People not familiar with BO will probably never even look in the grey area below our store.
This area is usually reserved for other links such as blog, terms, privacy policy, etc. Not for links to the stores main pages. I want to invest time in the "pages" section but I feel they are never going to be seen when they are located at the very bottom.

In a previous design, I had them on the top right of the header but it didn't look very good so I put them at the bottom. Maybe if you give some suggestions of the kind of things you would use the pages for, and where you would like the links? Maybe I could even give the option, on a per page basis, to decide if the link should be at the top or bottom.
  • I think they could go below the welcome banner on stores pages that says "Welcome to xxxxx"
Off the top of my head I would probably want the following tabs:

Policies: This would have return policy, how I ship packages, and any other policy I may think of

About Us: Talk about the history of my store and how we got where we are today

Specials: I would post special deals/coupons I am currently offering or plan to offer

We buy Lego!: I use a .com URL that gets forwarded to my BO store. If I hand out my business card to a person looking to sell me their Lego toys than I want them to easily see this.

Contracts: I have a few specials I do with businesses like Day Cares and robotics teams. I would like to send out mailings to businesses and for them to look at the contracts page.

Sponsor: I currently do not officially sponsor any team. I have been debating this and it is still unofficial, but this is a possible tab I would like to have in the future.

That is 6 tabs total, but currently would use 5.

  • If you just want the links on your homepage below the welcome banner, you can do that yourself by editing the homepage and putting links to the pages manually. You could then even put a bit of text like "for contracts, visit our contract page" etc.
  • Can I actually make the tabs/nav bar I want, or just links?

I want to know before I go and relearn how to create nav bars for no reason.

  • Probably just links, you could put an image under it though to style it if you want.
