LEGO Replay Program (Alternative to Recycling Old, Damaged LEGO)
This is also being discussed in another thread but I really wanted to highlight this news (HUGE thanks to @One_Click_Off for educating all of us on this news!!!!).
LEGO launched a PILOT of the LEGO Replay Program just a few weeks ago (10/9/19). This program allows anyone (unclear if worldwide, as the beneficiaries appear to be United States locations) to go to their site, print a shipping label, and ship at no cost to you any old LEGO you would otherwise recycle (e.g., too damaged to sell or gift). They then clean then and donate them to worthy locations for continued play, such as the Boys and Girls Club of America. Their vision is that LEGO should last and enjoy play forever.
