PayPal Transaction ID Link

The link for the PayPal transaction ID is a great idea. Unfortunately, it needs to be specific to the seller's country.

Currently the link is...
https://www.paypal.com/uk/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_view-a-trans&id=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
but for me it needs to be...
https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_view-a-trans&id=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Can we have that added to the list? Thanks.

PayPal corrects it as soon as you sign in, I have accounts in UK and US it doesn't make any difference whether you sign in after landing on "uk" vs "us"

I had hoped that would be the case, can you confirm if this is an issue? Guessing at the url may cause 404s for some people as they won't have a country specific version for every country.

From my experience I can confirm, having been located in the uk and us, using PayPal accounts in both nations - it switches the moment you click return after entering log in info

For what it's worth

It is working itself out fine for me with the Canadian site. If I am logged in it goes straight to the transaction, if not the login screen still takes me there fine.

For me, I have no country specific identifier. When I hover, the URL is https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr...

I removed the region specific identifier, hopefully that should be an easy fix.
