New Color

Any catalogers out there know how to add a new color to an existing part?

Design ID 15503 is the part in question. It now appears in Lavender as shown in picture. How do you edit the item so you can associate the LEGO ItemNo with the correct color?

This may not be the correct way but I have used it in the past.

You dont need to create a new item as it is already in the catalogue.

Edit the part into your inventory under the colour you want (lavender)
once its in your inventory you can edit the item and add photo, part numbers etc.

Last thing, dont forget to zero the item from your inventory, unless you plan to sell it.

I think there are two correct ways based on when I ran into this and asked @lawrence.
What Abel notes above works.
Another way is to go any set the new color appears in, edit the set inventory to include that item in the new color (so bonus, an inventory gets updated also!), then that color becomes auto-available in that part to add to any store as a stand-alone part. I hope that made sense. ;-)
