How to stop Windows 10 auto update

I came home to find bricksync wasn’t running, and discovered Microsoft decided to shut it down and update my laptop. Not good, fortunately no duplicate parts ordered.
Found this hack, not really a hack, just changing settings, but in the registry. So I had my son do it (he knows computers). I think it worked.

Had the same problem but had another solution. I made sure bricksync starts with windows starting up. You then only have to make sure windows logs in automatically after a reboot.
That way bricksync is always running and the updates are installed.
This might be a bit safer.

I’ll have to figure that out. First windows thing I’ve attempted to use. Just don’t like running an app in terminal on my mac
