How to edit image of the part

I'm still very new to BrickOwl community.
I have configured the BrickSync between my profiles. After checking latest additions her noticed that "White Horse with Orange-Brown Bridle and White Circled Eyes" looks like a White 2x4 brick.

    That's the "we don't have an image for this part" placeholder. If you can provide one of your own (i.e. not from Bricklink/Google), then you can submit it via the edit tab - just make sure you're on the page for the correct colour before submitting (something I still get wrong!).

    Is there any picture taking guide?
    I could provide a picture of my own, but there is a dilemma 2x4 or crappy mine.

    Anything is usually better than nothing :smile:
    As clear as possible, closely cropped, and it should be fine.

    A trick if taking a picture of something white against a white background is to have something dark, preferably black, out of shot on either side. This 'darkness' reflects onto the white object and helps to give edge definition.

    You can also use something like Background Burner Bonanza for free online, which strips the background of the image, making it look more professional. :-)
