Help to add minifigure to inventory

Morning all
I am trying to add a minifigure to a set but when I try to submit it I am getting this message 'This must have at least one item in its inventory'. I have never tried to add a mini figure before so could someone please advise please.

If the minifig exists in the catalog then you should be able to just add it to the set inventory.

If the minifig does not yet exist, then you need to add all the minifig parts to the set inventory first. Then once they have been approved, you then go back into the set inventory and create the minifig from those parts.

At least that's what I have been doing and haven't been told differently.
