delete old orders

i know i have asked this before but never had a good reason why it cannot be done .why cant we delete all the old orders in our lists ? once i have recived the items left feedback (which some stores dont bother doing but want us buyers to do ) then why is the order still there every other site i use inc ebay i just delet or hide as and when i want to , can this not be done here

Is there a good reason why you can't just ignore them? Most jurisdictions require that all business records are kept for a number of years (in the UK it's 6, or 15 in some circumstances). A 'hide' feature might be a good idea though.
