USPS International Zone support

While updating my shipping prices for the upcoming USPS changes, I noticed that for international shipping, Royal Mail international zones have been set up for the UK sellers. Is there any chance of the same being done for US sellers? Or is this already available somewhere and I missed it? I know I can manually do this by selecting countries for each of the 9 zones, but thought it might be easier for people if it were set up for US selllers as it is for UK buyers.

Similarly, on the other site, they have an API set up with USPS so the rates are filled automatically, is that on the radar here at all?

    I had the same thought, but decided not to ask since I dropped international shipping a few weeks ago (my rates really were not making it attractive for any buyers <s>).

    But yes, it would be great if the API knew that Canada is Zone 1, Mexico is Zone 2, etc.
