Any way to force an option of media mail for instructions only?

Only by setting 'force quote' on each lot you're selling.

I'm liking this idea - I could really use this for sets, also. The challenge though would be combined orders, e.g., if they're buying instructions AND parts - you can't send the parts media mail and you don't want to charge shipping 2x...?

I think it should only apply for instructions (perhaps stickers also) without parts.
If parts are included option should be unavailable

Yes, this would work definitely if only that type was purchased (e.g., set only or instructions only or stickers only).

Yes some mechanism to deal with stickers and instructions other than the current 'force quote' method would be beneficial.
