Inventory management

@Admin - I know you are bombarded with requests, here are two more!!

I would really like to see more ways to manipulate my inventory, for example I would like to be able to reduce prices in certain categories, I don't put everything on sale at once for example.

I would also like to find parts that aren't selling or haven't sold in "x" period of time- and be able to reduce prices accordingly,

my prices have been "sorted" over a period of time, I started readjusting prices after my transatlantic move - generally lower in the USA but I hadn't finished when the split happened.

I don't want to set ALL prices to current average, nor do I want (nor can I) to set to 6 month average - due to lack of data.

ALSO (2nd request) is to be able to search for exact term in inventory, example is I use Personal Comment to locate parts

in the format B-32 or T-07 or similar, when I expand I need to move parts so I would like to enter search "T-07" so that all parts in that location come up, at the moment I get anything with a T, a 0, or a 7.

Thanks!

  • A little more slicing and dicing of sales data would indeed be nice. Especially in another 6 to 9 months when we have some more history to work with. I wonder if lots are even time stamped at this point.
  • You can now adjust prices by a percentage amount, and also set a minimum price. You can also sort by the last sold date. I understand these cannot be combined, I'm sure at a later point I will make actual filters. I have noted the issue you have with the search with hyphens.
