How to share xml files?

I have been asked for a xml file, I have gone to inventory and done the download which opens as a explorer link and when shared does not work.
As many of you may have seen we are selling up and have been asked for a full inventory in this or bricksync which is being a even bigger headache, my pc won't run it and goes into overheat ever time I try.
Any tips on the xml files please?

    I haven't had any problems... normally I download the full inventory (Inventory -> Download/Backup -> Download) and select XML. I've never shared a link, but you could certainly download the XML then email it to the individual(s) asking for it as an attachment.

    You can also open the XML in Microsoft Excel (or Open Office) and save it as a .csv or .xls which will significantly reduce the file size.

    Thank you for your reply, for us its saving as a web link which is not working when passed on. Will play some more later, sometimes I just don't get the tech stuff.
