Anyone else hear about this coming event? Could cause problems and delays in deliveries during and after the strike (due to backlog of packages). What is the best way to handle it here? Wait to ship? Stop accepting orders 1 week before so customer orders are not delayed or lost? Delay mailing orders?
I remember the last time there was a strike (2009?) and I think I posted a message to all customers whose mail was delivered through Royal mail on my site that they could still order, but packages would be held until the strike ended plus a few extra days so delivery service and backlogged packages that had piled up could be cleared.
What does everyone else plan to do in preparation for this? Is there something within Brick Owl that can be temporarily set for the event to separate these orders from the rest so they do not accidentally get shipped and lost in the shuffle?
