Prices in some stores

Hi guys / girls
Just a quick question: why do some stores here on Brick Owl have 2 or more prices ( different prices ) for the same new piece?

Dark Stone Gray AU $3.298

Dark Stone Gray AU $1.958

Both are new and from the same store, the only difference I can see is the quantity in stock. Not sure why there are 2 sets of inventory as they are the same piece and should only be shown once.

I click on the piece that is AU $3.298 and see no change in description and no other change.
I click on the piece that is AU $1.958 and again see no change whatsoever.

Am I missing something here???????

It's possible that their stock of those pieces come from differently priced sources, and have they have been priced for re-sale accordingly.

Some stores also price pieces differently if there are minor differences that only some buyers care about (such as age of a piece, mould pip location, etc.), but you'd expect a note to reflect this.

Otherwise it's just that they're not so great at tracking their store's inventory.

Another possibility is that a store sells product on commission for someone else, who might have set different prices for those parts.
