Anniversary 60
Now, before you all start shouting 'happy birthday', let's be clear, I'm way from 60, and it isn't about me anyway :-)
Missed by a day (appology to @Lawrence ), I can now say I'm a proud member on his website for 60 M and 1 day.
Ah, darn, the site doesn't count in months offcourse...
60 months, devided by 12 is... 5
yes, 5 YEARS, this site has been running for 5 YEARS (official launch date, june 28th 2013).
A mysterious lauch (looking back), with hardly any expectation (looking back), with little to no experiance to be a competitor to some other dinosaurs in the LEGO after sales business, this site lauched (and really took off).
Bashed by some people in the early days, countered by the direct competition, it still stands, changes & grows on daily bases.
A big THANK YOU to admin @Lawrence for making this 'the place to be'. Some, like me, discovered it in the first few hours of it's existance, others came along weeks, months and years later, always welcomed by the members of this community.
The sellers base has grown, the buyers base has grown, the catalog has grown, the amount of orders is rising, the path is well laid out and BO has become a real 'player' in the market, not just a sidekick.
So happy 5th Anniversary to Brickowl, looking foward to the next 5 years, so I can say '120' :-)
