Postal boxes

Just where do people buy their large letter postal boxes. I have bought 2 lots from ebay and to be quite honest they are rubbish. They do not fit the large letter opening. can someone point me in the right direction please?

  • I've got some off eBay and they have been okay. I searched for pip C5, A5 etc and there should be a fair few. They fit perfectly through the 2.5cm gap too and I send a lot of orders out in them. I have three sizes, small square box for odd bits, C5 and A4 for larger orders. I use jiffy bags too where appropriate. You may find that you have to squash the two outer side slots on the boxes where the cardboard folds into them (really struggling to explain this lol). If you PM me I'll send you links where I got them from.
  • I've also used Kite Packaging.

To be honest I don't use them very often as I don't find them cost effective in small quantities, but there are times when they are a life saver when an order is on the margin between letter and parcel.
  • I run a large ebay store and my own website doing pop culture toys along side this so use a lot of boxes and used a lot of companies over the last 3 years.
The one I currently use and have done now for some time is called Macro packaging https://www.macropackaging.co.uk
I have in the past used big dug who have a limited range of packing stuff but a pain to find on the website and find their flat postal boxes to be better but are more then the first link which are more then up to the job.

Don't know if things have changed but they are who Big Dug use for their stock yet found buying direct was more expensive then using Dug on the items they stocked. Macro was overall cheaper and better service then all the others I used so far.
  • Thanks all for your comments will look into them all.
Pippyblocks I know exactly what you mean - the ones I have bought I have actually had to cut them off - which is not good ~X(
