Do you mean the menus that allow users to browse items by type? (personally, I love those if that's what you mean - those are default to display for all, I believe).
I think maybe @MountainBricks might be seeing the bug in the desktop Safari browser. I’ve been meaning to report this for a while. In Safari (not sure if problem in latest version) all the top menus extend and do not retract like they are supposed to. Maybe this can be looked into @Lawrence

Probably not worth your time and resources, or not your problem, but I noticed images load noticeably slower in Safari than in current versions of Firefox or Chrome.
