Adapting the Falcon 7965 into newer 75105
Looking at the instructions for the two models, there hasn't been much change, so I was going to improve my 7965 model with ideas from 75105.
Hinging the round plate on top to access the gunner sled for example. That 8x8 disk just falls off with slightest tap.
The main change is obviously the rectangular dish. Easy enough to change if I had the right part, but I don't. So the question is how can I build a rectangular dish that looks ok with parts other than the piece supplied with 75105.
