Worm Gear Brick dimensions

Does anyone know what the dimensions of the space, of the inner cross shape on the worm gear lego brick, #4716 piece?

    @michelleAG The worm gear fits over any standard sized axle (examples: 4519, 15462, 3708, 60485, 3737, 3706, 3705, 32073, 32209, etc), so if you have one of those, you can measure the outside dimension of the axle to know the inside dimension of the worm gear. Length is 2 studs (same length as a 1x2 plate or brick: 3023, 3004 ). Unless you mean the circular dimension in between the 4 ribs, well, the worm gear fits over any standard plastic rigid hose (example 76279), or any bar (30374 for example) so that would be 3.2 mm.
