Changes to Item Editing Form

Just to make people aware, some small changes have been made to the item editing form to hopefully reduce confusion surrounding the naming of decorated items. For the majority of decorated items, if they are linked up correctly, you will now only need to submit the description of the decoration as opposed to the entire name. So previously for a decorated tile you would submit "Tile 1 x 4 with Line", now you just submit "Line" into the decoration description field. For example you can see on the edit form here

Additionally, names can now easily be edited by us post-submission to reduce rejections due to small issues

Thank you for that Lawrence. Just for clarity, does this mean we no longer have to include 'Decoration'? For example, "Tile 1x4 with Smile" is now the preferred format, instead of "Tile 1x4 with Smile Decoration". As there is no mention of stickered parts in your post, are these also subject to these new changes or as they are?

You don’t need to include the word “Decoration”, just depends if it seems appropriate. Stickered parts are also included in this change. Minifig heads/legs/torsos stay as they are as the naming is often a bit different as it can be based on the figure they are included within.
