No email?

A customer placed an order, and of course the system sent him an order acknowledgment. He replied to this with "stop emailing me" (this is the entire content of his reply aside from the quoted order ack message attached to the bottom).

On the one hand this is kinda funny, as he obviously "caused" this message to be sent. However, I was thinking a bit about this. The only way for me to explain what happened is to send him an email. But I don't want to p*ss him off. So I could decide to not reply and honor his explicit wish. But then - I am going to ship his order this afternoon. Changing the order status to "shipped" will send out another email.

Hm. Interesting.

I don't think I can prevent this from happening (right?), so I will likely just change it to "shipped" (I don't want to leave it as "processed" as this would screw up the audit trail).

I think I will just annoy him once more with the shipping message, hopefully that would be OK for him.
