Difference between 21459 and 30173

Hello,
Have been sorting out weapons from the Ninjago series and note the different moulds in the Katana Swords. However BO lists them as the same weapon item with different part number. I would like to think that these are two distinct items like minifig heads with solid studs/through studs/ recessed studs. As such I have placed at note against the parts to help customers, but would think that it would be better if the moulds are clearly defined as the location of where the "holes" are define the item.

I note your addition, but I disagree with your solution. The differences between the moulds are very distinct. Similar to 4589, 3068, 3069, 3070, 3794, etc. I note that other webs clearly defines the two as separate entities to avoid customer disappointment.
