spam emails

Is there a way of suppressing spam email from being received into the messages area.

I have received an email today from insure n go via an unsuspecting user of brickowl, which clearly isn't from insure n go and contains a zip file.

I have also been receiving linked in requests from another user.

my main concern is that emails are being sent on my behalf and have nothing to do with brickowl.

any help greatly appreciated

If you ever receive something like this, let me know using the contact details linked at the bottom of the page and I can deal with the situation. Often it's the result of a customers compromised email account.
