Parting out suggestions?

I have parted out a couple of sets direct to BO, to see how it goes, one thing I noticed is that some minifigs are listed whole, and some come up as parts, and in one they were included twice as complete and in parts.

For me, others too maybe? it would be handy if I could set default "part set" options to either include/exclude minifigs and if included add as complete or parts, I don't recall how that was handled elsewhere.

I used to use BrickStore :-w - "open source" that has NOW been effectively taken too (

I know little to nothing about code and such but as BrickStore is copyright FREE, perhaps some wonderful computer expert could re-code the data base for use with BrickOwl and Brickset/Re-Brickable?

Could be a little earner, I'd certainly be happy to pay/subscribe for a maintained version... G

Would be nice to know the total that the set is being parted out for before submitting. I use it as a guide to decide to either part the set or sell it as a whole. Can a total be added to the bottom or a calculate button in addition to the submit button that is already there, Please!

OK I see the problem -
@Admin - so do we need to go in and actually remove the MF parts from the DataBase of the set and add the complete figure(s) instead?

As I understand it, Graham, we need to get the inventories of the minifigures onto the minifigures, at which point it'll happen "automagically".

Unfortunately, that process is currently painful. (See http://brickowl.com/forum#/discussion/659/import-minifig-inventories .) I'm hoping Lawrence is going to either improve the interface or make it happen using data he appears to have available in some form.
