This is something @lawrence, that really needs fixing, another problem today is someone ordering 1 part of a pair - I have it clearly listed as "must be purchased as a pair"

I cannot see any reason why you won't allow this, and a paired part isn't a "mini-build"

I believe mini builds was originally created partly to deal with this, if you'd like the customer to only be able to purchase items together, you can create a minibuild if one doesn't already exist for that.
