Navigating to Colors from a Parent

I am having trouble figuring out how to go from a parent part to its child colors. For instance, if I search for "Black Spiked Hair," I can find the parent part, but since no black parts are available to buy, I can't find how to get to the black part from the parent entry. I finally went to the inventory for the Battle of Smallville set and found it there.

Is there an easier way to get to the known colors of a part?

I think I just found what I was looking for under the Decorated tab. Shouldn't colors be in a Colors tab?
