Minifig head color variations?

I don't think I paid any attention to this until someone posted some photos of some really good fakes a few weeks ago on a different forum.

(Tried to take photos of this but light wasn't good enough to see the difference)

I have a Storm Trooper with the dotted mouth face, the "face" part is much pinker than the others I have of the same item. I'm not sure where I got this one, so I opened two sealed sets and they are more light cream color than this. I know this can happen with parts but wasn't sure about figs, does this happen or should I worry?

These are known to have some color variations. I had them coming out of the same set.

This is due to the Lego being made in more than one country. Copy Lego do pink heads which if they use the same stud system fit as well. Your odd face ones are more collectable and valuable as was told models with mutations are the hardest to find so would say your in luck as a collector!
