Just received an order from Australia. OK. Minutes later the buyer added a small item to the order and paid it. Again 10 minutes another addition to the order, paid.
So I'm left with this situation:

value items ordered - shipping cost - my paypal cost
batch 1) 5.84 - 4.49 - 0.89
batch 2) 0.24 - 0.25 - 0.38
batch 3) 0.25 - 0.25 - 0.38
--------------------------
total 6.33 - 4.99 - 1.65

Am I missing something here or is the buyer getting batch 2 and 3 for free?
Actually I'm subsidizing the buyer's 2nd and 3rd batch because I pay way more to PayPal than the items ordered.
I haven't packed the combined orders of course, but I wouldn't be surprised if the total weight exceeds to the next shipping band and I have to pay 6.67 instead of 4.49+0.25+0.25 = 4.99. Add to this the additional PayPal costs of 0.78 and you see why I'm angry.

In My store - settings - order settings you can set an order combining fee to cover those costs.

It looks like you may want to increase the order combining fee mentioned above. You currently have one set; which was used, but if it doesn't cover your costs you may want to adjust that.

Please be advised the normal shipping system is used so as long as the settings are correct, the shipping should be correct.

Not sure for Europe, but in the US, we can have paypal setup for micro-payment, where fees on 50c payment would be 7c instead of 32c. That helps a lot on small additions.

yes just call paypal they will help to setup micropayments, sometimes it can make a difference
