"side lines" really??!!
The difference between the minifigures is that they come with one of the following torsos:

The first one is described as having "side lines" -- it has printing on the front edges, presumably to give it a slimming look. There are other differences between them, but nothing really stands out as a great way to describe the difference. While "side lines" is probably pretty vague, it's better than "pockets".
