You may have seen on items there is now a BOID. For example below the design ID on this item
http://brickowl.com/catalog/lego-plate-1-x-2-3023This is a basic item ID to uniquely identify items in the catalogue. It will be used to help interface with other websites/software and via the API.
It is a random number that has no relation to the item whatsoever. Coloured items consist of the main number followed by a hyphen and then the Brick owl color ID. We decided to make is unrelated to the item because often things such as a design ID are not known when an item is first found and may change over the items lifetime. We never intend to change BOIDs of items.
Just to be clear, this is a boring simple number, anyone can use it for any reason, we will never ever in any way complain/harass/threaten anyone who uses this number in any way.

My subconscious is digging up from childhood maybe and makes it like a little kid saying bird, which is fitting.
"a little BOIDy told me so"
Ahh well, back to work.

Boid is an anagram for the phrase "blacked out in a ditch."
The last two letters can be substituted for any number of different things, such as boib or boor (blacked out in a bush and blacked out on a roof, respectively).
Bystander 1: Oh my God, look at that girl on the street.
Bystander 2: {}
