Saving on USPS post costs
I imagine this is not news to anyone - but just in case - I just discovered USPS's little gem - the flat rate PADDED envelope.
It does not matter what shape it ends up as long as it's sealed with the self adhesive strip. I ordered some from USPS.
... and I just got a very large parts order in one, looking at it and what i've sold over the years - almost every (parts) order i've sold would fit.
Which would reduce international postage costs dramatically, just has to be less than 4lb's - however without some kind of volumetric calculator built in to check out - which I imagine is next to impossible - I dare not add it to shipping options!

I will say do order quickly. Last year the closer we got to the holiday season the slower USPS was to fill my order. Hopefully they are better prepared this year.
