When A Store Is Closed, Can They Be Contacted?

I just received an issue report my Store is not responding to messages. This is the first time I have had a complaint from one of my customers, and I do not see any messages from them in the past. My store is currently closed because I need to add a bunch of inventory.

    Yes, closing a store only prevents further orders from being placed, outstanding orders still need to be shipped, and prior customers still need to be communicated with.
