Can we have a number beside orders placed ?

At present whenever our store receives an order a number pops up beside our name in the top right corner drop box , if you click on the box it drops down and beside orders received a number shows up , could you implement this for a number to show beside the orders placed tab , it would force people to mark the order received and maybe leave feedback . At present my orders page only shows 14 orders out of 60 as being received .

Yes good idea. This would drive buyer feedback and is a logical extension to the existing order workflow in BO.

It's a +1 for me to if the intention is to have buyers 'acknowledge' they received an order... If it's with the purpose to trigger buyers to leave more feedbacks, then my question is 'why'? We all get similar 'returns', as long they are not 'negative' and buyers do not complain 'more' compared to other sites, then why be bothered about it? After all, feedback is not an obligation...

Well, if we are heading for a situation where we "accept" that every good order needs no feedback, a negative will put serious pressure on the feedback % that does not reflect reality. That would be my only reason for "stimulating" buyers to leave more feedback.

It would be a +1 if it was just to mark the order as received.

Although I can understand this could be nice for stores, we would not want to add extra burden for customers. The received status is not something we feel should be required of customers.
