Combining Orders

Hi all,

How do I help a customer add something to an existing, paid order? I haven't processed or shipped it yet, so they should be able to add pieces and be invoiced for the new parts, but I can't find a page or a path to help them.

I believe they're just meant to checkout as normal, and if your store's settings allow, they will be offered the opportunity to combine.

That is correct. As long as the order status is not set to processed, when a customers places a new order, shipment costs will be combined. If you have a combining fee set (to cover Paypal costs) that will be charged. Be careful though: The 2 orders will appear separate in your overview, with a "+" symbol to indicate combined shipment. Sometimes tricky when some other orders have been placed in between..

Please note that order combining must be enabled on your settings page http://www.brickowl.com/mystore/settings/order_settings and you can also set a cutoff status there.
