I have just received a complaint from a customer :-
The complaint is he received a 10" X 15" base (51542) instead of what he ordered 32 inches by 48 inches
I have emailed him to let him know that LEGO is measured in "Studs" not inches
... Just in case he makes an appearance on the forum.
A comment would be appreciated
Thanks!

all entries are quite clear I believe and this is also the case on this entry
Stud Dimensions: 32 x 48 x 6
Dimensions (LxWxH): 25.6cm x 38.4cm x 5.9cm
(I assume on the 'dimensions' part you're seeing inches in stead of cm).
Besides, 32x48 inches ??, seriously, now that would be quite a large baseplate, that's almost a pallet size, try to find a box for that :-D
Yup it was hard enough to find a suitable box for it in the first place! - I imagine this may be someone pretty new at the hobby.
It makes me think tho - is how did TLG come up with the sizes and spacing they did? - just a little bigger and they would be 1cm apart on centers...

That however should not happen here. Buyers who shop on brickowl know this is a Lego only marketplace and should know what Lego sizes are.
That's new to me too - interesting!
How would you know without posting it?!!!!!!!!!!!!!
