Using PayPal without an account

Hello!

I have had a person contact me about being able to use PayPal without an account. The person said they wanted to order, but they do not have a PayPay account. They want to use a credit card to pay through PayPal instead of setting up an account. However, since we only accept PayPal, they said they were not able to do it, as they were being required to pay before completing the order. They mentioned that they'd ordered from someone else who accepted money orders. They were able to be billed through PayPal to complete the order.

We're still pretty new here, so I'm not quite sure what to say to this person. It sounds like they want an invoice. I was going to suggest they request a quote. Does this seem like it would solve the issue?

As far as I know, PayPal offers the option to pay with a credit card without creating an account.

It's just a little less convenient, they may have to enter the billing address at every purchase.

But how does it work with Brick Owl? The person isn't able to submit the order because he said he does not have a PayPay account. How can he submit the order without one, since it asks for his PayPay information?

Would requesting a quote do the trick?

When the customer is redirected to PayPal, the page will ask for the PayPal account's name and password.

If I'm not mistaken, there will be some link below to pay without a credit card, called "Don't have a PayPal account?". Registration is optional, you can also just pay with a credit card.

The ability to pay without an account can be restricted by the retailer (Brick Owl in this case) for security reasons. The option may not be present.

You could also offer payment via stripe, I have had a few customers use this method.
